Act-Belong-Commit

'Creating Mentally Healthy Communities'

We hear a lot about what we can do to keep our bodies healthy, but we need to hear more about how we can keep our minds healthy too.

The Kingston Bayside Primary Care Partnership with the support of thirteen local organisations has established a partnership with Mentally Healthy WA to implement the Act-Belong-Commit Campaign in Kingston and Bayside over the next 3 years.

The Act-Belong-Commit campaign encourages everyone to do things to keep mentally healthy.  It focuses on building good mental health and preventing mental illness and it is aimed at everybody.

Keeping mentally healthy is as important as staying physically healthy, and it’s as easy as A-B-C. Keeping active, having a sense of belonging and having a purpose in life are all good for our mental health and wellbeing. We not only feel happier, but we can cope better with problems and stress. Act-Belong-Commit.
Just try it.
