With a wealth of information available on the internet, it can sometimes be difficult to remember which website provides access to which resource. The Kingston Bayside PCP website is designed as a 'one stop shop' where you can use our links to take you to all the resources you need.

 

Resources have been divided into those more commonly used for Health Promotion and those more commonly used for Service System Development. Please use menu links to the left to find the resources you are most interested in. Some resources of course, are relevant to many areas and they can be found on this page.

 

Heatwave

In response to the January 2009 heatwave during which an additional 374 deaths were recorded in Victoria, the Victorian Government has asked all Local Councils within Victoria to develop Heatwave Plans. These plans provide guidelines to Council and community and raise awareness of the dangers posed by heatwaves to vulnerable groups living within a municipality.

Youth Resources

Who, What, Where Guide

Bayside Glen Eira Kingston Local Learning and Employment Network (BGK LLEN) have put together a comprehensive resource aimed at young people over 15 years. ‘Who, What, Where - A guide to all the important stuff in the Bayside, Glen Eira and Kingston area' is now available online or as a hard copy.

 

The guide provides localised information about secondary schooling, choosing a career, further education and training, types of employment, finding a job, employment rights and responsibilities, managing money, health and wellbeing, moving out, legal rights and responsibilities, identity and citizenship, behind the wheel, and young people with special needs.
